The RMIT Media Arts undergraduate program is an interdisciplinary studio based program dedicated to artists working with reproductive technologies. It is particularly focused on the relationship between art and technology, new media and systems of representation, identification and practice within the fine arts. It privileges studio practice and the development of creative, practical and conceptual skills, supported by related theoretical and historical studies. This encourages a cultural, philosophical and historical setting for contemporary artistic practice.
RMIT Media Arts proudly presented a group exhibition of graduate multi-media artists involving a diversification of content and process within the media arts. This exhibition featured 16 recent graduates each with their own take on contemporary practice and ideas.
A dynamic range of practices was brought together within this exhibition including installation, animation, digital and photographic imaging, video installation and mixed media.
