Rosetzky's Custom Made explores the currency of modern-day portraiture through a series of video studies of contemporary 'types'. The individuals on screen are publicly scrutinised as they perform various mundanities: waiting, sitting, looking. However, it is the spectator who is self-consciously implicated. Rosetzky situates the video performance within an institutionalised public landscape suggestive of a lobby or a generic designer interior. The work is conscious of its environment and the position of the spectator. Through the conflation of forms and mediums incorporating aspects of contemporary culture, Rosetzky investigates notions of identity in relation to both public and private space.
